Tammy Ordo
Tammy Ordo is a lecturer in the Music Education Department in Givat Washington College. Tammy is a music teacher and a senior violin teacher, specializing in string teaching in groups, and one of the pioneers in this field in Israel. She taught for years at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.
She is also a conductor of children and youth choirs and string orchestras. Published articles and also wrote and published the series "Zlil VeKeshet" (Sound & Bow) for teaching string instruments in group, which is part of a curriculum in schools with performance musical programs. The violin book was translated into English and Arabic as well.
She conceived and outlined the original song competition in the Music Education Department at the Ministry of Education.
