Orit Orbach has appeared as soloist with many orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic with Zubin Mehta, Jerusalem Symphony, The Israel Chamber Orchestra, San Francisco Sinfonietta, Sofia Philharmonic, the Hagen Symphony and Warsaw Philharmonic.
Was the principal Clarinetist of the Jerusalem Symphony, the Israel Symphony, Haifa Symphony and the Israel Camerata.
Orbach participated in various music festivals. as the Marlboro Festival, Tanglewood Festival, Neustadt festival, Music by the Red Sea, Israel, and Canberra International Chamber Festival.
Orit specializes in Jewish music , has performed with several Klezmer groups :the Maxwell Klezmer band, , the Klarisma Ensemble and the "The Eve's Women Band", which performs Jewish music with new styles as Jazz, Rock, Middle Eastern, Balkan with an exotic feminine touch. The ensemble performs successfully all over the world.
Orit has been teaching Clarinet and chamber music in the Tel Aviv Conservatory ,, the "Hed" Music institution, Hezellia Conservatory, Kfar Saba Conservatory. She was head of the Music department in Kalay High School and for the past 7 years the head of the music department in "Dror" High school and teaches Clarinet at the Levinsky College.
Orit Is also conducting youth wind orchestras in Pardesia, Israel.
Orit gives Master Classes and workshops all over the world about Clarinet and Bass Clarinet techniques, Klezmer music and Performance skills: at the San Francisco Conservatory, Houston University, Melbourne University, Canberra University and Sidney University, Marburg university, Weizman Institute and Tel Aviv Academy.
She has been a judge in international competitions, including the Penderecki Contemporary Competition in Krakow, the Virgin Island competition, the Spring International competition, Israel, and the America- Israel Competitions, Israel.
Has graduated with honors at the New England Conservatory, Boston- BM and at the Northwestern University, Chicago- MM.
