Omer Goldberg - studied with Josef Urshalmi at the Academy of Music in Jerusalem and later with Wolfgang Landle in Kassel, Germany. During this period he performed with the guitar ensemble of the Musikakdemie Kassel under the direction of the virtuoso guitarist Michael Tröster and in a guitar duo with the Japanese guitarist Ryosuke Hara, with whom he also performed in Israel and Japan. After studying for a year in Spain with the Canadian guitarist Laura Young, he moved to Berlin where he performed as a soloist and taught at the Hans Werner Henze Music School. Upon his return to Israel, he performed frequently with the Israeli guitarist Yonatan Birnbaum in the duo BG in Israel and abroad and with violinist Eliana Lovenberg. Today he performs in the duo "Nostra" with the mandolin artist Raziel Tzur, who performs Israeli music, arrangements and works written especially for this duo.
He teaches at the Kiryat Ono Conservatory and manages the instrument department at the Rosh Ha'Ain Conservatory.
