graduated with his M.A in Performance as well as his B.Mus. studies with honours at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel-Aviv.
He was awarded scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, as well as a scholarship from the Colton Foundation.
was a member of the Israeli Opera Studio for young singers.
won the first prize in the Buchman-Mehta School Competition ,and the Most Promising Young Artist prize at the Hilde Zadek International Competition in Vienna. was a finalist at the Spring Competitions for Young Singers ,as well as the prestigious 47th Francisco Viñas International Singing Competition in Barcelona and a finalist at the 10th Sacred Music Competitionin Rome, Italy .
Had Recorded with Labels such as Brilliant Classics recording of Mozart’s Apollo & Hyacinthus, and as well as CPO recording label Oratorio by C.P.E.Bach .
Amongst His many roles He Performed as Orfeo (“Orfeo ed euridice” By Gluck), Tolomeo (“Giulio Cesare” By Handel), Adalberto ( “Ottone” By Handel), The Sorceress(“Dido&Aeneas by Purcell), and “King Arthur” and “The Fairy Queen” by Purcell.
Alon sang in many Opera houses throughout Europe such as The Lithuanian National Opera, The Finnish National Opera, Dortmund Opera house (Germany), Muenster Opera house (Germany), Halle opera house (Germany), The Israeli Opera and more.
Alon is a very sought after concert singer as well, had sung numerous concerts around the world in leading halls such as The Warsaw Philharmonic Hall , Poland in the Official Annual concert for 70 years to Warsaw Ghetto uprising, Sung the “Chichister psalms” by L.Bernstein at the Koeln Philharmonic Hall ,Germany, with the WDR orchestra and choir. Sung the Oratorio “Carmina Burana” at the Massada opera festival in Israel , Alon is a member of The “barockwerk Hamburg” ensemble that specializes in German Baroque music and operates in Hamburg, Germany, Gave concerts and recitals in England, Scotland, France, South Africa and more.
