Katya Rosenberg was born in Moscow. Graduated with honors from the Gensin College of the Arts in Moscow. Studied conducting and singing at the Moscow Academy of Music.
She immigrated to Israel in 1990. In Israel, she graduated from the Tel Aviv University Academy of Music, with a M-Mus degree in choir conducting.
She has received several scholarships from the American Culture Foundation and Schleswig-Holstein Festival Scholarship in Germany.
For several years, she was the assistant of Professor Tamar Rahum, director of the vocal department at Tel Aviv University.
Today Katia runs the vocal department at Rosh HaAyin Conservatory. She conducts the "Anima" young choir and the "Mafteach Soul" choir.
